Special Abbreviation


Ch(s).    = chain(s)
St(s).     = stitch (es)
Sc.        = single crochet
Sl st.     = slip stitch
Hsc.      = half single crochet
Rep.      = Repeat
Beg.      = beginning.
Sp.        = space
Picot.    = 3ch, sl st into side of last sc worked.

Make 6ch, sl st into the first chain to form a ring.

Round 1  :     3ch (count as 1 dc), work 15 dc into ring, sl st
                       into 3rd of 3ch at beg of round.

Round 2  :     5ch (count as 1dc, 2ch), [1dc into next dc, 2 ch]
                       15 times, sl st into 3rd of 5ch at beg of round    

Round 3  :     Sl st into 1st 2ch sp, 3ch(count as 1 dc), work 2 dc
                       into 1st 2ch sp, 1ch, [3 dc into next 2 ch sp, 1 ch ]
                       15 times, sl st into 3rd of 3ch at beg of round.

Round 4  :     Sl st into each of next 2dc, 1ch, 1sc into 1st ch sp,
                       3ch, 1sc into next ch sp, 6ch * 1sc into next ch
                       sp, [3ch,1sc into next ch sp] 3 times, 6ch; rep
                       from * twice more, [1sc into next ch sp, 3ch] sl st
                       into sc.

Round 5  :     Sl st into 1st 3ch sp, 3ch, work 2dc into 1st 3ch sp,
                       into next 6ch arch work [5dc, 2ch, 5dc], * 3dc
                       into each of next 3 3ch sps, into next 6ch arch
                       work [5dc,2ch, 5dc]; Rep from * twice more, 3dc
                       into each of last 2 3ch sps, sl st into 3rd of 3ch at
                       beg of round.

Round 6  :     1ch, 1sc into same st as last Sl st, 1sc into each
